Yay for hobby lobby!

So I finished buying everything that I need to begin painting. How cool is that? Yeah, I know, pretty darn.

I even got some things that I didn't need, but will probably use. Apparently at Hobby Lobby everything just cost as much as the sticker price. They don't even scan anything in; they just type in the prices. So, if you were really dishonest and stuff you could just scrape off the real price and switch it with a cheaper price. They wouldn't even know. Crazy.

I think some people might be doing this already. When I was comparing prices, some items cost more than others even though they were the same thing. I got a 32 oz thing of gesso for five bucks, and the 16oz cost seven something. I didn't change the prices, I swear! But yeah, it doesn't really make sense.

I'm happy with what I bought though. I got a tabletop easel for six bucks, which was cool. You had to assemble it, but it didn't come with instructions so I just kinda guessed. I think I set it up right...O_O???

I've already started priming one of the canvas panels that I bought from Wal-mart. Gesso smells like Elmer's glue. Which makes sense, I think it's made from animal glue or something like that. Good thing Leah isn't here--she might try to eat it :p

I swam for half an hour today at the gym. Damn that's hard work! I would swim across and then wait at the other side just to catch my breath so I could swim back. Good times though. I've been working out for at least an hour everytime I go. I'm going to weigh myself on Saturday to see if I've lost any weight. I hope so. Working out so much kinda sucks. Mostly 'cause I get bored. Mostly.

By the way Rachel, yes Masterpiece Theatre did have a good ending. Or I should say "Bleak House" had a good ending. Definitely had the touch of Dickens. I love how he ends his stuff. I don't know how to explain it, but its just always so cool. They started another series. I forget what it is about, but I'm looking forward to watching it this Saturday.

Yeah, I can't really think of anything else to write...I'm kinda sleepy. I'm just wasting time until Sara finishes in the bathroom so I can get ready for bed. Oh, she's out. G'night.

Yay! Glue!

I am so glad you have the joy of Hobby Lobby! I have that easle as well! I bought the standing one, but I find I do not use it as much - I like to sit in a well lit area.

I can't wait to see your work! I love Dickens too! He always has a dapper ending to all his novels! And the characters are rich. Miss K used to say that he had restless leg syndrome, and at night he would wander the streets of London, and would see the people of the night - and molded those experiences into the rich characters of his novels.

He's a pervert like me! I LOVE driving around and looking into other people's houses at night! Keep your curtains down and lights off, cuz I'm lookin! O_O
